Thai dipping sauces, or "nam jim," are a crucial part of Thai cuisine, providing a balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavours to complement dishes like grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables. They come in various forms, with the most common being nam jim jaew (grilled meat sauce), prik nam pla (fish sauce with chili), and nam jim look-chin (tamarind sauce).
