"Soepkip" is a Dutch word that literally translates to "soup chicken," referring to a whole, mature chicken specifically bred or raised to be used for making soup or broth. Soepkip have a more intense flavour than younger chickens, making them ideal for creating flavourful bases for dishes like chicken soup.
