Pinoy's Choice Ginisang Bagoong is a Filipino-brand sauteed shrimp paste condiment, available in regular, sweet, and spicy varieties, that serves as a flavour enhancer and dip. Made from fermented shrimp, garlic, and other ingredients like sugar and spices, it adds a rich, umami, and authentic Filipino taste to dishes such as kare-kare and green mangoes.
Many Filipino dishes are based on the bagoong taste. Kare-kare and binagoongan are a few. A simple way to have bagoong is with steamed rice.
Use as a cooking ingredient of condiment. Can be eaten with our without further cooking.
