This ready to use, tangy Sweet and Sour Seasoning Mix from Lobo brand is perfect for all your Asian sweet and sour dishes. Its sour fruity flavour also makes an ideal dipping sauce for appetisers and finger foods. It is especially delicious added to stir-fried chicken, pork or fish.
Sweet and Sour Seasoning Mix can easily be prepared for a tasty stir-fry. Stir-fry all ingredients until cooked, then add the sweet and sour seasoning mix and stir well. Serve over steamed jasmine rice.
Various ingredients can be cooked with the sauce, including chicken, pork, beef or even seafood. For a Thai version of Sweet and Sour the preferred vegetables are sliced white onion, chunks of fresh tomato, diced fresh pineapple and cucumber chunks. You can experiment with other types of vegetables to make a colourful and tasty dish.
Packet contains 2 sachets. Just add water to make the sauce to add to any of your favourite Asian sweet and sour recipes.

Recipe: Sweet & Sour Chicken
1. Prepare and cut 300 g. chicken, fish, shrimp or other meat into proper size, mix with 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a pan, add prepared meat and stir-fry until done.
3. Add 1 onion, 1/2 carrot and 1 bell pepper, stir-fry until soft.
4. Dissolve contents of this packet with 1/2 cup (120 ml.) water and pour into
a pan. Bring to a boil.
5. Add 4 cup (100 g.) drained pineapple chunks. Stir-fry on medium heat. For deliciously crispy taste, mix 2 teaspoons tempura batter mix with chicken. Fry until golden brown and set aside. Stir the crispy chicken with the sauce in the last step.
