Thai folks will almost always eat a Yellow Mango as a snack fruit, often eating the whole fruit including the skin, simply by cutting chunks off with a knife and popping them into their mouths.
There is one famous dish in Thailand which relies upon Yellow Mangos as the main ingredient. You will see small stalls in the food markets selling this dish, named Khaow Neow Mam Maung, which consists of sticky rice, slices of yellow mango, and coconut milk, mixed together to make a sweet dish.
Fruit salads in Thailand would not be complete without the inclusion of Yellow Mango, alongside other Thai exotic fruits such as guava, pineapple and banana.
Another major use for Yellow Mangos in Thailand, especially when it comes to tourists, is in making milk shakes and ice shakes, where mango makes an excellent choice of fruit, which needs no sugar or any other flavours, to make a cool and refreshing drink.
